Une histoire de sportifs... - Vitamoon Une histoire de sportifs... - Vitamoon

A tale of athletes...

We have been active for many years, and until recently each of us had our favourite sports.

For Tihana, dance: a dancer for many years, she grew up to the rhythm of salsas, waltzes...

For Matthieu, Aikido, a practice combining body and mind that he has been doing for almost 25 years.

Together we train regularly at the gym because it's one of our wellness tools and it helps us stay clear of many injuries and illnesses.

And for a year now we have been doing Krav Maga, a demanding practice that pushes us to go beyond our limits physically and mentally, but that also creates a higher level of stress.

Stress, because classes take place late in the evening, from 8 to 10 pm, when the body should be getting ready for the night, and we're acting out various scenarios of physical confrontation, fighting...

Stress, because the body takes hits and the mind is pushed into deliberately uncomfortable situations to learn how to deal with them.

When the body is under this kind of stress, it switches to “survival” mode, which triggers a large number of changes inside the body, including: a faster heart rate, sharper central vision...

But more importantly, blood is sent to the priority organs. In this state, the digestive system no longer receives as much blood, which can lead to many problems with absorption, digestion, immunity...

That's why we developed the PROBIOTIC at Vitamoon. We are athletes, but we're aware that sport can also become a trap.

Because many physical activities have the same impact on the body. It's not just combat sports, far from it: a group class, running, cycling, climbing... In fact, every physical activity creates stress that the body has to manage.

So to counter the effects of evening activity, overly intense activity, new challenges and the body's responses we can't control, we are the first to use the Probiotic to reach our goals in the best possible conditions.

Because our progress in every activity depends on our ability to RECOVER, and our ability to RECOVER depends on our DIGESTIVE SYSTEM...

Thanks to this, a few days ago we passed our Green Belt exam and the next day we were pleased to see our bodies recover quickly after intense sessions :-)
